Ned, possibly someone will see your post and email you but you could also try selling it via Amazon, eBay, alibris.com, or abe.com... all of those might be rather a nuisance for just one item. Suppose you could try craigslist if they carry publications.

Nice blog! I have most of Cordwainer Smith's books and enjoyed them a lot over the years. A friend recently sent me the FANTASY BOOK #6 to sell for him, and it looks like as fine a copy as could be found - except that the cheap printing failed on the first two pages of "Scanners Live in Vain". They are legible, but dithered with dim transfers of ink from some other text.

Around 1966 I formally discovered science fiction when I found a copy of Isaac Asimov's SECOND FOUNDATION on the sidewalk about a half mile from St. Mary's School in Dumont, NJ. It wasn't even a complete copy-it was missing some pages. Imagine my delight when I discovered there was more where that came from. The next sci-fi I recall was a book titled PRODIGAL SUN (?)about a society where everybody wore an armband that revealed their IQ, genetics, and other salient items. There's an E.T. opponent, and the title makes perfect sense by the end of the story.

And then for something completely different-SCANNERS LIVE IN VAIN!!!

I was hooked, and in the following decades have read anything I could find by or about CS. I would enjoy the book collections, because before the Internet, I could get a professional's perspective (Silverberg, Dozois, etc.) on why I was enjoying reading slices of the universe of the Instrumentality of Mankind.

This evening while waiting for tech support, I Googled "the instrumentality of mankind" and have spent two hours grokking on all that is now available online, as well as where to purchase hard copies.

Thank you for all of http://cordwainer-smith.com/ :-)

It's great to see that Fantasy Book cover. But who are the men in charcoal gray around the edges?

To this day, "The Game of Rat and Dragon" is one of the most astounding SF tales I've ever read, and I'm gratified at its inclusion in the Space Opera Renaissance tome released a couple of years ago. To discover the man behind the pseudonym was possessed of such a sharp and intriguing mind was an even greater delight. His stuff still feels fresh and edgy and ahead of the curve today.
